We first met in 2016 at Y Market Brewing in Nagoya while I was on a business trip to Japan. That meeting led to a connection that continued across countries and time zones.

In 2019, Tomomi moved to Vancouver for a working holiday, and I was living nearby in Seattle. Despite being in different cities, we made time to meet and build a shared life on the West Coast. After her working holiday, we both decided to return to Japan.

In September 2023, I proposed and Tomomi said Yes! Here we are now, preparing to celebrate this next step in our journey together.

私たちは2016年、名古屋のYマーケットブルーイングで初めて出会いました。当時、アイザックは日本への出張中でした。その出会いがきっかけとなり、国や時間を超えて関係が続きました。

2019年には、ともみがワーキングホリデーでバンクーバーに移住し、アイザックは近くのシアトルに住んでいました。別々の都市にいながらも、時間を作って会い、北米での生活を共に築きました。その後、ともみのワーキングホリデー終了後、私たちは日本に戻ることを決めました。

2023年9月、アイザックがプロポーズし、今こうして一緒に新たな一歩を祝う準備を進めています。
